qualitative forecasting techniques

qualitative forecasting techniques
Techniques used to forecast future trends, e. g. the demand for a product, when there is little meaningful data to use as the basis of statistical techniques, or when it is considered necessary to triangulate the results of statistically based projections. Typical techniques include making use of sales-force estimates, juries of executives, and surveys of user expectations. See also Delphi technique
